We hereby like to invite you to our spring exhibition in the Hague Salon!

At this sales exhibition, we present museum-grade artworks from the European Art Nouveau and Art Deco period 1880-1940, including unique posters, sculptures, glass art, lamps, furniture, pottery and Rozenburg porcelain.

We’ll also be presenting two (!) unique, rare and particularly richly decorated desks by Theo Nieuwenhuis, dating from around 1910, one of which is even a double writing desk.

Art historian, television maker and former curator of the Amsterdam Stedelijk Museum dr. Lennart Booij will be giving a lecture (will be held in Dutch) on Sunday June 2nd about the French Art Nouveau, and in particular about master jeweler and glass artist René Lalique (1860-1945). Lennart Booij obtained his PhD on the works of René Lalique and wrote the book ‘Lalique in the Netherlands’, about the reception of the artist’s work in the Netherlands.

The second exhibition weekend, from 8 – 10 June, will be on ‘World Art Nouveau Day 2019’. See for more information, and about the participating institutions: World Art Nouveau Day 2019

We warmly welcome you to our exhibition, and invite you to enjoy a drink and a bite to eat!

Rachel Reijers, Rob van Vulpen, Jaap NIeuwenhuizen Segaar en Marc Knook
